About me:
Presumably if you've even made it to these first few words of mine you've got a momentary interest in me. I can only hope at least; I'm not nearly worth fussing over if you don't really care. I'm an isolated individual in my own little world. As for what I am, well, that's a bit of a question.
I'm a person with the company of my thoughts and this computer and the lives it lets me stay in contact with. Yes, that means I'm a bit of a loner.
It would be nice to think that all this time spent on my thoughts means I have a brain worth tapping. I can remember a time when I was that self indulgent and arrogant. At least a little bit of humility has taught me all about how much I still have to learn. Of course, the only way for you to see what limits lie therein and just how deep the iceberg goes is to take the plunge for yourself but that's a self motivated quest really.
To put it simply, I am a fool. First in my book of dragon tarot it means several things. The fool stands on the black and white checkered floor, representing the light and darkness in each of our lives. Above his head are four aces from each of the four elements, symbolizing new beginnings. In one hand he holds a dice for the element of chance; in the other, a jester's head, for the humor we all need to make it through. On the floor is a harp, with which Orpheus made his descent into the underworld.
The fool speaks: "I am the Fool, here to mark your entry into Dragonland. I note from the expression on your face that you are taking this far too seriously. So actually you're missing the point! It's all a laugh, why must you be so boring and intellectual. Come on, tell me a joke, let's hear some real wisdom!"
It carries the divinatory meaning of a new chapter opening in one's life. On the left is the druidic triad showing the rays of wisdom, and on the right is the symbol of uranus, the planet of originality and eccentricity-and genius.
I'm a lot of these things in many ways. There's an element of chance to me and my life, a good laugh always in my head somewhere, and a commonly occuring mocking sense of humor for even the most serious of things. Intellectualism has its place, and its purpose, but neither serve as the dominant part of my personality merely a part of it just like all the others. I have those rays of wisdom in me, but then, that is why I have the good sense I suppose not to get cocky about anything I might think I know about anything.
My roots, if truth be told, are in the hermit card, for it is as a hermit that I largely am and always will be. Instead of reciting the entire thing as I did with the fool, I'll give you that last part to look over. To find me, you do not have to journey to some far out of the way place. To find me, you must first of all be quiet, and in the stillness you will eventually begin to hear the voice within yourself. I think I'll let that speak for itself.
Social aptitude is not something I boast a great deal of. If you want me to talk, you'll have to prod me into a bit of conversation. I prefer to take some time and get to know people, who knows what's behind the mask these days. There's always something more to people, something they're not showing for whatever reason that may be. The trick is being able to figure out what, and having the necessary patience for the job.
The CW is sponsoring Vampire Rave this week. They have a new show coming out called, "13: Fear is Real". Parts of Vampire Rave will have a different look and feel this week. Please take a few moments to review the show details. I think they've got something here. Here's a brief show synopsis:
Combining reality and scripted horror, this series features 13 contestants staying in a spooky house and forced to confront their deepest fears. Each week, a different competitor departs by appearing to die in an elaborately staged scenario. The last one standing wins $66,666.
